Are relationships important? Yes, because we are relational beings.

7 Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. 8 But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
1 John 4:7-8

There are different definitions of LOVE.
4 Types of Love for Greeks

Storge – family love
Eros – physical, sensual and expresses sexual and romantic attraction
Phileo – close friends or brotherly love
Agape – selfless, sacrificial, unconditional love, highest type of love in the Bible, intentional and a conscious choice

35 Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”John 13:35

16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave[a] his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

This posts the question, “Kailan ka nakakakilala ng tao na magpapakamatay para sayo?”

17 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. 18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. 19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Ephesians 3:17-19

Love must haves:

• Believes in me
• See my worth
• Always out-gives
• Never gives up
• Always forgives

15 After breakfast Jesus asked Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?[a]”
“Yes, Lord,” Peter replied, “you know I love you.”
“Then feed my lambs,” Jesus told him.
16 Jesus repeated the question: “Simon son of John, do you love me?”
“Yes, Lord,” Peter said, “you know I love you.”
“Then take care of my sheep,” Jesus said.
17 A third time he asked him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”
Peter was hurt that Jesus asked the question a third time. He said, “Lord, you know everything. You know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Then feed my sheep. John 21:15-17

Focuses on the restoration of Peter Love makes everything worthwhile. Do you think it was cruel to remind Peter that he will deny him three times? No. You have to understand how much God loves us so that we can properly reciprocate to that love.
