As we wait for 2024 to end, I am sharing the learnings that helped me in 2024 and may continue to help me in 2025.
Personal Growth & Mindset
Embrace uncertainty: Learn to become comfortable with not knowing all the answers. Trust the process and find confidence in your ability to adapt.
Productivity & Time Management
Prioritize deep work: Allocate uninterrupted time for focused, high-value tasks that move your goals forward.
Learning & Knowledge Acquisition
Learning from failure: Understand that failure is not the opposite of success but part of the process. Learn to pivot, adapt, and grow from missteps or uncalculated steps.
Communication & Relationships
Feedback: Improve your ability to give and receive feedback constructively to grow personally and professionally.
Health & Well-being
Mindfulness: Incorporate mindfulness practices to improve focus, reduce stress, and increase overall well-being. Had it not for mindfulness, my mental health would have suffered because of the misfortune of the ectopic pregnancy.
Financial Growth & Stability
Creating passive income: Explore opportunities for passive income streams, such as investments, side projects, or consulting.
Career Development
Personal branding: Invest in building your online and offline brand to amplify your presence and opportunities. This should also include improving your skill building to stay relevant and adaptable to the work market.
Creativity & Innovation
Thinking outside the box: Challenge conventional thinking and foster creativity by approaching problems from new angles. With this, I allowed myself to experiment with failures and successes without putting pressure on myself.
Sustainability & Social Impact
Giving back: Find ways to contribute to the community, and support causes that align with your values, whether through volunteering.
Spirituality & Fulfillment
Surrendering to God’s Words: With all the uncertainties and haunts of the past, it is only through God’s grace and mercy that I was able to survive 2024. I never imagined what my life could have been like had I not surrendered to God and His promises.
There is no need for resolutions because I have no plans to keep a list that I will forget and neglect throughout the year. Lol.
