I have shared this on my New Year’s post, and this is like my accountability to you, my dear readers. I have started my wellness journey with Skin Desyre Greenhills Branch, and I am happy to have you every step of the way. For the first session, I had an SD deep facial service. I mentioned in my previous vlog that I love availing of the SD express facial because of the absence of ‘pricking.’ However, I had to have an SD deep facial service to maximize the second service. The difference between the SD express facial and SD deep facial is the skin pricking and using a different mask by the end. I have done a few facial services in various skin clinics before, and I dread the pain from the skin pricking. I was surprised to find a different experience from Ate Grace of Skin Desyre Greenhills Branch! Grace’s hands were so light, and I barely felt the pain. I felt the removal of the deep-pitted dirt without the spiking pain of skin pricking. The SD deep facial service lasted for an hour to ensure the last mask placed was completely dry before peeling it off.
The second service for my first session is the 7D TriliftHifu + Vmax Full Face & Neck Treatment. Honestly, I was nervous at first because it was my first time to try this kind of treatment. According to Healthline.com, High-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) treatment is used for skin tightening and is relatively new. It uses ultrasound energy to encourage collagen production, resulting in firmer skin.
Benefits of high-intensity focused ultrasound
According to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), HIFU and other nonsurgical alternatives to facelifts have significantly increased in popularity over the last few years. The total number of procedures performed has increased by 64.8 percent between 2012 and 2017.
HIFU has many aesthetic benefits, including:
- wrinkle reduction
- tightening sagging skin on the neck (sometimes called turkey neck)
- lifting the cheeks, eyebrows, and eyelids
- enhancing jawline definition
- tightening of the décolletage
- smoothing the skin
Study results are promising. A 2017 study involving 32 Korean people showed that HIFU significantly improved skin elasticity of the cheeks, lower abdomen, and thighs after 12 weeks.
In a more extensive study of 93 people, 66 percent of those treated with HIFU perceived an improvement in the appearance of their face and neck after 90 days.
How does the 7D TriliftHifu + Vmax Full Face & Neck Treatment treatment feel? Ate Lorna said that I might feel pain during the session, but it depends on the pain tolerance of the person. From my experience, I did not feel any notable pain during the session. I felt a little electric tingling sensation, and it wasn’t painful. Parang may sabay-sabay na pumipitik sayo pero hindi masakit.
How long would the procedure last? They said it’s around 2-3 hours however it depends on the skin area. Mine took 40-45 minutes each area (right side, left side, and chin area). They took my photos before and after the procedure, and even in one session, you can immediately see the results. They informed me that I only need to do the 7D TriliftHifu + Vmax Full Face & Neck Treatment at 2-3 months intervals because the effects will still develop over time. Can you see the difference? I am happy with the results; I can now feel sensations in the targeted areas – not painful, but you feel the tightness of the skin instead. I have shot the vlog of the entire session and a separate vlog of the daily progress of the targeted areas. I cannot wait to share them with you guys!
