Fundraising Event for Humanility Philippines — A Success!

DynaQuest Technology Services Inc. has successfully organized and hosted the Retro Glow Foam Party for a Cause for the benefit of Humanility’s Education Fund for the foster children in the Sky Deck area of KMC’s Picadilly Star building office located in Bonifacio Global City Taguig.

I was privileged to attend the fundraising event hosted by DynaQuest’s CSR Program for Humanility Philippines. Humanility is a non-profit organization aims to emancipate and empower victims of poverty and children at risk through compassionate care and sustainable economic and educational development.

Proceeds of the event will be used to benefit the Children’s Education Fund by Humanility as well as the expansion of their Computer Learning Center through the procurement of new computer units and laptops to prepare for the incoming 2022-2023 school year.

“Humanility has been a project of ours and has been dear to our hearts over the years, but it has been limited to how much we contribute through our teams in the process, when we visit the site — but tonight is different; tonight, saw us come together as a collective to make a huge difference in setting a brighter tomorrow for the Kids in Humanility. Words alone can’t convey how thankful we all are to each one of you.”

“It was an unforgettable night for all of us,” said DynaQuest Country Director, Gail Cruz-Macapagal, who chaired the organizing team for the said event. “For one night, we were able to come together and make a difference. This includes the DynaQuest team, our partners – many of whom we have worked with over the years – and our most generous sponsors who helped make this event possible.”

For many years, DynaQuest Technology Services Inc. has been an active sponsor for Humanility Philippines. The company has sponsored, organized and hosted events dedicated to the holistic care and development of the children under the care of Humanility such as Back to School parties, grant donations, sponsored medical and dental missions, educational and recreational tours, fundraising for Christmas and donations to the repair and rehabilitation of the Humanility Shelter in Bogo Cebu, in the aftermath of typhoon Odette in December 2021.

Just this recently, DynaQuest Technology Services Inc. has successfully endorsed the raised funds from the Retro Glow Foam Party for a Cause fundraising event to Humanility. The proceeds reached the amount of Six Hundred Twenty Thousand Philippine Pesos (PHP 620,000.00) for Humanility’s Children’s Education Fund for the upcoming School Year 2022-2023.

Gail Cruz-Macapagal, the Country Director of DynaQuest, is also the Country Representative of Humanility Philippines. “After two years, it is good to be back in the Humanility Shelter here in Bogo, Cebu. During the pandemic, the children under the care of Humanility were always in my thoughts and prayers as I have inquired about their well-being during the height of the lockdowns.” Gail added: “Now that we are here and have raised a considerable amount for the schooling and continued education of the children, we will continue to sponsor and support many more programs – for the benefit of Humanility.”

In 2018, DynaQuest and Humanility jointly established the centre as a facility to enhance the computer literacy of the children and as a means to attend online classes such as basic coding and watching educational shows. During the pandemic surge of 2020 up until early 2022, the computer learning centre was essential to the continued education of the children as they were able attend distance education despite the lockdowns and restrictions.
