What if You Try?

These are my notes from B1G Fridays What If: Try
Ride called life. Is there a pilot guiding your ride? Whom you can trust your life with?

The struggle between FAITH and FEAR.

“Walking on water” – Going out of your comfort zone and trusting the Lord your path. Let water walking be a picture of doing with God’s help what I could never do on my own.

Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it. Shortly before dawn, Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” Matthew 14:22-31

There is a Call. God asks ordinary persons to engage in an act of extraordinary trust.
There is always Fear. God has this uncanny habit of asking people to do things that take us out of our comfort zone.
There is always Reassurance. God promises His presence.
There is always a Decision. When we say YES to God.
There is always a Changed Life. Blessing of Obedience.

It takes eyes of Faith to recognize when Jesus is around. What seems too difficult for us is a sure sign that it belongs to God. Fear overcomes more people in the world. That is why Faith comes to the knowledge and the believing.

If you want to grow with the Lord, you will be accompanied with fear but it should be where your Faith should come in.

Lovely Ladies. God is the only source of joy and happiness. When we obey to Jesus Calling blessings will pour in – not because of how good we are but because of how good HE is.
