27: A Post, Post

For those who know me, I don’t celebrate my birthday only in a day. I celebrate for a month! Hahaha! But really. I do. For my actual birthday, I woke up with the smell of the food I will be bringing to the office – great food cooked by Tita. My mom greeted me with a kiss and I prepped myself up to work. Yes, I still did go to work because I celebrated my birthday with them as well.

I was welcomed in the office with these on my table! On my keyboard were snippets of birthday greetings from our sales demos! I found it so sweet! People greeted me and I was so excited for lunch time because I came prepared for them.

This was the feast I prepared for them and this is an incomplete team! Friday is more of a field day for others in the team but anyhow, the feast must continue. Lol! Would you believe?  Everything I brought was finished! TAOB ANG BANGKA! I texted Tita right away saying that everyone loved her food especially the Spaghetti. Just when I thought the day was over, they surprised me with a birthday cake!

I got them on video singing the ‘happy birthday’ song but I won’t post it here anymore. Haha! I am so blessed to have met these lovely people and some of them were with me ever since I started in the company and we have already seen each other grow.

Celebrating my birthday with the SKCON Family!  If all else fails, I know I got a family in you guys. ?

Office work and stress became bearable because of these people and I would never celebrate it any other way. All love for these people. ALL LOVE.

After work, since it’s Friday, I attended the B1GFridays! I celebrated my birthday with my DGroup Sisters on our usual Table 32. B1GFridays has been a constant for my year since I started attending last February.  I keep feeling blessed by B1G Ministry that I had to give back that blessing – so I did. I will be sharing how I came to learn about B1GFridays on another post! 😉 Last night, I felt so special being greeted with people some I don’t completely know and I saw genuine happiness coming from them. I brought some sweet nibbles for our table and went on to our usual B1GFriday night not knowing that there will be something sweeter coming my way!

Yep, another surprise! ???

Huge thanks to my DGroup Sister, Flo and my DGroup Mommy, Czar for this super sweet surprise! Thanks as well to the other ladies on Table 32 who sang a song for me and kept me unaware of what’s going to happen. Feeling ko tuloy super dali ko i-surprise! Hahaha! After the B1GFridays, we went to get a well-deserved massage at De Novo. The best way to cap my day!

A day well-spent, indeed!

My birthday eventually came to an end and I feel bitin because 24 hours is not enough to celebrate another year God gave me! Does anyone find it bitin that you only get to spend 24 hours (maybe less) to celebrate yet another 8,760 additional hours that God has given you? I do. For me, it should be celebrated every waking day of your life – giving thanks and celebrating life because God keeps waking you up every day and tugging you to sleep regardless how your day ended. He is a good, good Father.

?”Sing praises to God and to his name! Sing loud praises to him who rides the clouds. His name is the Lord — rejoice in his presence! Father to the fatherless, defender of widows— this is God, whose dwelling is holy. God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. But he makes the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.” Psalms? ?68:4-6? ?NLT?

Yes, this is not my last post about my birthday for I will still be celebrating it with my family and more friends!

Celebrate YOUR life. Celebrate HIM.
